Company Policy for Rentals

These policies apply to all for electric bicycles E-Bikes (“E-bikes”), Supplementary Equipment and Accessories. Collectively, “E-bikes”, “Supplementary Equipment” and “Accessories” are referred to as “Property”.

PAYMENT POLICY

Rental and Service fees are charged automatically and prospectively based on the selected plan. All fees are due when incurred.

Please note that during the rental period, you are fully responsible for the Property, including its wholeness and safety as well as for any damage and harm caused to yourself, third parties, or third-party property.

REFUND POLICY

All fees are final and non-refundable. This includes the following cases:

  • Early return of Property.
  • Early cancellation of Services.
  • Loss of use arising from Property being damaged, lost, stolen, or confiscated, as well as loss of use arising from you being sick, injured, or any similar circumstances.
  • Price changes after the rental has started, as no price guarantees are offered.

Refunds may apply in the following situations:

  • Deposits, except when used to cover any fees outstanding.
  • If Property is returned on the first day of the rental period or the day after.
  • If Property is returned on the first day of the renewal period.
  • If Service is canceled on the first day of the renewal period.

Please allow 14 business days for refunds to be processed. Note that we do not process payments directly and work with a third party, so we are not responsible for the speed at which funds are credited to your bank account.

Alternatively, credit may be given to your bonus account. There are no cash refunds.

RETURN & CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation of Rental will only be processed upon:

  • The immediate return of the rented Property to Whizz representative.
  • The payment of any outstanding fees.

Until then, the rental cannot be considered canceled. Failure to return the Property as described above will result in an automatic renewal of the rental for the subsequent period. Return Property no later than the first day of renewal period to avoid being charged for the next period.

Upon return, we will examine the Property for any damages and check for any missing items. It is advisable to be present at the inspection. Please note, there may be additional charges within 60 days of return for additional damages that could not be identified at the time of the return.

Cancellation of Service will be processed upon request. Cancel Services no later than the first day of the renewal period to avoid charges for the next period.

WARRANTY POLICY

No Warranty. The Property is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, except for the electric parts.

Electric parts are covered by a 3-month warranty from the date of pick-up or delivery against any manufacturer defects in materials or workmanship. If any electric parts become faulty within the specified warranty period, you must bring it to us, and we will replace it free of charge. Original proof of pick-up or delivery is required to establish the warranty's effective date. It is required that defective electric parts be returned to us for exchange.

Electric parts are not warranted from damage resulting from power surges, use of an improper charger, improper maintenance or other such misuse, normal wear or water damage.

Company Policy for Sales

These policies apply to all for electric bicycles (“E-bikes”), electric mopeds (“E-Mopeds”), Supplementary Equipment and Accessories. Collectively, “E-bikes” “E-Mopeds”, “Supplementary Equipment” and “Accessories” are referred to as “Property”.

All items, including but not limited to E-bikes, E-Mopeds and Supplementary Equipment, Accessories, that are marked with a "Final Sale" sticker in your personal account through the Whizz personal account and mobile application, in physical store or on the website https://account.getwhizz.com/ are sold under a final sale condition. Items sold under this condition are non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged. By purchasing any item marked with "Final Sale," you acknowledge and agree to these terms.

Accessories are always sold under a final sale condition. Items sold under this condition are non-refundable and cannot be returned or exchanged.

For new “E-bikes” “E-Mopeds”, “Supplementary Equipment” purchased in New York, New Jersey or Philadelphia: you have the right to return it within 3 days of pick-up or delivery, provided it is in its original condition. You must bring “E-bikes” “E-Mopeds”, “Supplementary Equipment” to the physical store. In this case, both the down payment and the first payment are refundable. A refund will be credited to your credit card within 14 business days after we receive your return and complete the inspection of Property.

If the inspection reveals that Property has become inoperative or damaged, we reserve the right to charge you for the full cost of Property or the cost of repairs according to the Price List for Repair and Damages and Damage Fees: Theft or Loss. These costs may be deducted from the down payment and the first payment.

If your return E-bikes, E-Mopeds and Supplementary Equipment was due to a manufacturing defect, once a manufacturing defect is established, we will reimburse the shipping costs, the down payment, and the first installment payment, or you will be eligible for a complimentary replacement or repair.

Supplementary Equipment can only be returned with the E-bike or E-moped, separate returns are not allowed.

For new “E-bikes” “E-Mopeds”, “Supplementary Equipment” purchased in states other than New York, New Jersey or Philadelphia: you have the right to return it within 10 days of pick-up or delivery, provided it is in its original condition. In this case, both the down payment and the first payment are refundable. A refund will be credited to your credit card within 14 business days after we receive your return and complete the inspection of Property.

If the inspection reveals that Property has become inoperative or damaged, we reserve the right to charge you for the full cost of Property or the cost of repairs according to the Price List for Repair and Damages and Damage Fees: Theft or Loss. These costs may be deducted from the down payment and the first payment.

You must ship E-bikes, E-Mopeds and Supplementary Equipment at their own expense to us, except in cases where a manufacturing defect is confirmed by the manufacturer. In any case, the initial return shipment is at your expense. Once a manufacturing defect is established, we will reimburse the shipping costs, the down payment, and the first installment payment, or you will be eligible for a complimentary replacement or repair.

For refurbished E-bike: The general rule is no refunds. The only exception is if E-bike purchased in the states of New York, New Jersey or Philadelphia has a manufacturing defect. You have 3 days from the date of pick-up to report any issues. You must bring a refurbished E-bike to the physical store. If our internal inspection determines it, you will be eligible for a complimentary repair.

Please note that after the purchase, you are fully responsible for Property, including its wholeness and safety as well as for any damage and harm caused to yourself , third parties, or third-party property.

CANCELLATION POLICY

If a new E-bike or E-moped is purchased in states other than New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania, early cancellation of the E-Bike Installment Sale and Security Agreement or E-Moped Installment Sale and Security Agreement is considered to occur after 10 days from the date you accept the agreement. In this case, the penalty for early cancellation is $300.

If a new E-bike or E-moped is purchased in the states of New York, New Jersey, or Pennsylvania, early cancellation of the E-Bike Installment Sale and Security Agreement or E-Moped Installment Sale and Security Agreement is considered to occur at any time after you receive the E-bike/E-moped. In this case, the penalty for early cancellation is $100.

You should pay for all shipping service costs.

Electric parts are not warranted against damage resulting from power surges, use of an improper charger, improper maintenance, misuse, normal wear, or water damage.

Annex A: Key Definitions

“E-bike” refers to the bicycle with electric pedal assist and an integrated electric motor powered by Battery. This term encompasses all variants and models of electric bicycles made available by us.
“E-Moped” refers to the electric mopeds that are subject to sale under this Agreement. This term encompasses all variants and models of electric mopeds made available by us.
“Electric parts” refer to components such as the battery, motor, wiring harness, controller, lights, and LCD display.
“New E-bike” means brand-new bicycles that have never been used or sold before. They come directly from the manufacturer or an authorized retailer and include a full manufacturer’s warranty.
“Refurbished E-bike” means pre-owned bicycles that have been returned, inspected, repaired, and restored to a good working condition. They do not include the manufacturer's warranty.
“Supplementary Equipment” means lithium batteries and any components that come with the purchase of E-bike or E-moped, as well as rider's packs listed on the website https://getwhizz.com under the store section.
