Whizz offers last-mile delivery services, providing the option to purchase or rent e-bikes and related accessories. We also provide maintenance and repairs services.

You can pay for your rental using a credit or debit card issued in your name. We don't accept cash, checks, or prepaid cards. Please note that your rental plan will renew automatically and the fee for the next month will be charged if you don't cancel beforehand.

You can pick up your e-bike at one of our offices in New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia or listed partner bike shops.

In other cities to get your bike, you need to arrange delivery, which costs from $99. We’ll deliver the bike right to your door anywhere in the U.S.

You can apply for delivery jobs through popular platforms like DoorDash, Uber Eats, Grubhub, Instacart, Seamless, Caviar, etc.

Please return the e-bike, along with all additional equipment and any other items rented from us, to one of our locations within 24 hours after your rental plan ends.

Failure to do so within this time frame will result in daily penalties.

Upon return, our representative will inspect the e-bike and additional equipment for damages beyond normal wear and tear.

For split payments program you won't be able to return the bike before making all payments, including the one-time payment.

Yes, we provide a charger so you can easily charge your e-bike at home.

Your plan includes an electric bike with an alarm system, phone mount, charger, and U-lock. A bike basket is also free when available. For a small extra fee, you can add our Protection Plan for extra peace of mind. Extra accessories are available for purchase. Plus, the plan includes free maintenance and repairs for wear and tear.

We highly recommend split payments, also know as RTO (rent-to-own). The main benefit is that the bike will be yours once you have paid for it in full.

You purchase an e-bike and pay in installments.

First, you make an initial payment depending on the selected plan and a one-time payment of $99. You need to choose one of the following plans, with the monthly amount depending on the selected term:

• 12 months: $169 per month
• 6 months: $290 per month
• 3 months: $550 per month

After completing all the payments, the bike is yours.

The Split Payments Program is open to individuals 18 and above who can provide the necessary documents:

• US-issued ID
• Debit/credit card in your name (cash/prepaid cards are not accepted)

Note: Proof of address is not required unless you have an out-of-state address or no address indicated on your ID.

Our monthly rental plans include free maintenance and repairs for normal wear and tear.

This covers common issues such as flat tires, brake adjustments, and other minor repairs.

Labor includes:

• Changing flat tires
• Brake adjustments
• Gear adjustments
• Seat adjustments
• Front and rear light adjustments
• Wheel adjustments

Parts included:

• Tubes
• Tires
• Brake pads
• Rotors
• Chains
• Cassettes

For more serious repairs, while they aren't covered by the plan, we guarantee quick, on-demand service without requiring an appointment.

No, you can keep the e-bike at home or store it in a secure parking space during the whole rental period.

If we are delivering in NYC and NJ our delivery fee is $35. For other cities fee has been preselect from $99.

No, any rented property, including but not limited to the electric bike, must remain within the states of New York, New Jersey, Philadelphia and DC.

No appointment is necessary for repairs! Simply visit our office during business hours, and our experienced mechanics will take care of everything.

We will repair your bike within 30 minutes or exchange it.

Yes, you can receive an extra battery with our All-in-One plan, Winter plan or purchase one separately from our store or rent it as well.

Our Storm-2 electric bike can go up to 85 miles, and our low-spec model Storm can go up to 60 miles on a full charge in ideal conditions (flat terrain, light rider, use of pedal assist, etc.)

E-bikes do not charge by pedaling. You need to charge them using an external charger.

Charging your e-bike after every ride is generally a good practice. The need to charge frequently depends on various factors such as the distance you've traveled, the e-bike's battery capacity, and how much electric assistance you used during the ride.

E-bikes are great for beginners because they provide pedal-assist or throttle options that make cycling easier, especially on hills or longer rides in cities such as NYC. They offer a comfortable and cheap way of transportation. Also, they could be a perfect fit for delivery riders.

Yes, helmets are required by law for Class 3 electric bikes, and Whizz bikes are categorized as such as well.

The short answer is no.

Yes, you can drive there, however you need to be in the bike lane while crossing the bridge.

No, but you need to be 16 years and older.

It may be a bit harder to pedal an electric bike with no assistance due to its weight and motor drag. However, the Bosch motor we use offers a seamless pedalling experience.

Yes, especially if you're a delivery rider or daily commuter. Gas is getting more and more expensive, so electric bikes can be a very economical transportation solution.

The cost of operating an electric bike per mile can vary depending on factors such as electricity rates and the bike's efficiency.

However, with some average values, it can be estimated as follows:

• Average electricity price: $0.31 per kilowatt-hour (kWh) (source)
• Average e-bike efficiency: Approximately 20 watt-hours per mile (Wh/mile)

Using these values:

Cost per mile = Electricity price per kWh / E-bike efficiency

Cost per mile = $0.31 kWh / 20 Wh/mile

Cost per mile ≈ $0.015

So if you are making 100 miles per day, you will spend $1,55 per day.

The lifespan of an e-bike battery depends on factors like usage, charging habits, and the battery's quality. Our bikes have 800 cycles and their batteries can last between 3 and 5 years on average.

To maximize battery life, avoid completely draining it and recharge it regularly. Keep that charge between 20-80%. Using pedalling when possible. Read our manual before using the product.
